27 Jun Eyebrow Threading For Clean And Straight Eyebrows
If you’re interested in makeup trends and fashion, and you have been paying attention over the course of the last 10 years or so, you probably noticed an emerging trend of shaping your eyebrows. To those who have been interested in makeup, the concept of eyebrow shaping is not a new one. For many years women remove their eyebrow here so as to create thinner eyebrows that were not as heavy and dark as they would be naturally. Men also used the same hair removal techniques of in order to get rid of the unibrow look that many men have naturally. In order to create a cleaner look, waxing and plucking were typically the procedure that was used in order to remove the unwanted hair. This involved taking out the hair that was outside of the thick area, and creating a shape as much as could be done by pulling one hair at a time. If you wanted to remove large areas of hair, you could utilize waxing to a larger degree. The problem with waxing and your eyebrows region is that you’re trying to shape the hair in patches, and waxing does not allow for an application that creates a region very well. Instead, waxing is used mostly to remove all of the hair in any area, without a shape necessarily being desired. As the trend of eyebrow shaping became more popular, Americans began to experiment with older techniques that were developed in other countries where people had thicker and darker hair. This is when they stumbled across the ancient Indian technique of eyebrow threading.
Eyebrow threading is a process of taking two threads and pulling them tight across a person’s skin in the area where you would like to remove hair. When these two threads are twisted together, they pull the hair out in that area by the root. This creates a line where there is no hair within a region where hair is thick. This gives you the ability to create a very sharp edge even where there is that care that is typically not in that shape. This is the look that you’ll see on so many social media stars today, where the top and bottom of their eyebrows are straight lines, and the edges of their eyebrows are actually blunted off in an unnatural way. This creates the very dramatic look that when combined with heavy makeup will have that dark look at offsets your skin and draws attention to those regions. When you combine the look of dark eyebrows which have been threaded along with heavy makeup and lighter hair, you get a look that might not be natural that will certainly turn heads. Attempting to create a natural shape on the eyebrows is less and less popular every year, and creating a more sharp line eyebrow is definitely the trend today.
